A baby was born,
Who was to be king,
But was born in a barn,
A most unseemly thing.
The child was small,
With such perfect form,
That none would suspect
Of the upcoming storm.
From the moment he breathed,
To the moment he laughed,
His days were numbered
To when he'd breath his last.
The reason he lived
Was that he had to die,
To save us all
And he complied.
God had a plan
For his only child,
So as he watched him grow,
I think that he smiled.
But then it happened,
That cold, dark day,
His son gave his life
And thus gave us the way.
Now we can join God,
In heaven above,
And thank him for sending
His child of love.
Ok, so I guess it could be better, but I am getting hungry and I can't think of anything else. Sorry. Merry Christmas!!!! ...Eve...

Merry Christmas
Ok, I thought of this quickly and it's clearly not good. It doesn't have a good rhytm and the rhyming is questionable, but for a last-minute poem I think it's alright...
May your Christmas be joyful,
And full of good cheer,
Your Eve be wonderful
And so your new year.
When the presents are opened
And the chocolates passed round,
Remember the past year,
And friends that you've found.
Remember your family,
The close and the far,
And send them your wishes
Then wish on a star.
Then think of the people,
Asleep on their beds.
And also the people
In the cold, without threads.
The homeless, the hungry,
The angry, the sad,
Remember the reason
Why Christmas is had.
Remember the child
That you saw on the street
Who goes to sleep hungry
And dreams food to eat.
Remember the man
Who's life is all wrong,
And give him some bread
Or some hope, in a song.
Remember the woman,
Hair dirty and curled,
Who gave birth to a child
To save the world.
Remember her boy,
Who died on the cross.
And the world was saved,
At his Father's loss.
Why did he come down
From heaven above?
To show us all
His father's love.
It's Christmas time again.
So be of good cheer,
But don't forget those
Who watch it disappear.
I know, I know, I could do better. I think I had a good one somewhere...I will try to find it...

Ok, here's what's up!
*As a note, this was an email to my pyrate friend. :)*
It's funny, I haven't been able to get on Nema in like a week. That's ok. I spent my birthday ... {note to self: blog about this on xanga} ...sorry. I had a sudden inspiration. Ok, so Wednesday I have club vb like normally I do. Then after that my week was so fun (not that club isn't; it is). So this is what I did:
December 5
After I came home from club, my mom called me down and said Dad had a present for me. I smiled because I knew it was money for my video camera that I plan to get today. They were going to give me my present early because they wouldn't see me until Friday. So I went downstairs and opened the envelope my dad handed me and I got $50 ! Woohoo! But then he gave me a small box and I opened it.
Guess what it was.
No, seriously, guess.
Come on, would he really give me that?
Think again!
Do you give up?
Ok, fine.
It was a golden 4-band puzzle ring from the Middle east! I was speechless for a grand total of three seconds. Then the words came pouring out of my mouth and I started jumping up and down. I had always been fascinated with his 6-band one, and now I have my own! AAAHHH! But now I'm afraid I'll lose it. Once I timed myself and I took less than a minute to put it back together. :)
December 6
On my birthday I spent the night at Flower child's house because I went to see the school Christmas play. Ohmygoodness, one of my favorite highschoolers MADE UP HER OWN SONG ON THE PIANO, and it was so good that I think she should make a cd. It sounded so peaceful and relaxing, like a soundscape. I want to hear some of her other songs...Anyway... But when I got to school Flower Child gave me a bag of candy. :) And then my friend Snickers gave me this necklace with a purple cross. I'll wear it Sunday with my puzzle ring.
December 7
We woke up at like five or something. I ate breakfast at the school because we got there early and Flower Child's mom is a teacher. It was kind of a wierd feeling...Anyway, then I hung with the staff kids and I watched them play cards. Ok, the boring day passed... Then I rode home with Raely and Blonde Mexican to go to Raely's Christmas party. I went last year, too. It's kind of a tradition, except this time there was only R, BM, and I. So we had lots of fun. We went upstairs and when we were up there, we listened to emo music, jumped on a trampoline, and threw a baseball around. Then we went downstairs...and had sugar and got so hyper we were like a sonic boom. We went to the party at her park and got to go on the last hayride. The sugar was wearing off so we were tired. Then we made cookies and I got another sugar headache, but that was ok. We played some games. Then BM left and then they drove me home at...11, I think. Then I went to bed.
December 8
Blogging about my fun week in an email to my pyrate buddy who got the 3rd CD that I will HOPEFULLY {and when I say "hopefully" I mean "there's no stopping me"} get today when I go get my video camera, MGOB gets her ears pierced, and I go to MGOB's partay {yes, I know I spelled it partay} and then I will see her in person, but I hope she reads this email first so that I don't have to tell her all this. Whew! So...that's what's up. How are you?

My mom
Well, today marks the beginning of a new journey for us. A family of eight, whose mother was not feeling well, asked if some of the kids could stay at our house for a while. My sister invited her friend, who is the oldest child in the family and only a few months younger than my nine-year old sister. We had three of the fours girls over. While they were playing outside and I was bent on beating spider solitaire, something happened. Something happened that could possibly change life as we know it… After a while the girls came in and I heard one of them say something like, “I hope her ankle is ok.” I counted them. All the girls were there. What did they mean? But I was obsessed with winning solitaire and I knew that there HAD to be a five in there somewhere!
{I am selfish. It’s not something I’m proud of. I hate it. But at certain times…well, really, all the time, I can only be focused on ME. What I want, what I think, listen to me, pay attention to me.}
So then a bit later (I was too “busy” that I didn’t check the time; I was in my bubble) my dad asks through the sliding-glass window to my mom, who I had failed to notice had NOT come in (because I am selfish) and says something like, “Are you ok?”
And still nothing hits me that something might be wrong. {Man, am I self-absorbed or what?} And so a bit later one of the girls comes in and says, “Your mom needs you outside”, and I think, “Oh…snap.”
So I get out there and she is leaning on my dad, who is holding her up, and she is not putting any weight on her right foot. Suddenly a lot of things were running through my head. How did this happen? What was hurt? What was she going to do? Is she going to the hospital? Will we be able to go to night church {where all my friends were and I wanted to be}?
{May I point out the extreme amount of selfishness in the latter? And the one question that I SHOULD have thought was a mere ripple in the waterfall of questions: How can I help?}
But my dad told me to support her other side and we helped her to get to the threshold of the back door to the house. She said her head was spinning, her ears were ringing, and she felt like she was going to collapse. After a while we decided to go to some emergency hospital-outlet thingy. We got to the car and with all the other children in the car, we drove there. Eventually they took her in and after that the other kids were picked up by their father. Then we had to wait {and I am so bad at waiting; I get mad at my computer for taking 3 minutes instead of 1 to start up} and then we went into her room. She wasn’t there. She was taking x-rays.
{And during this whole time the only selfish thought running through my head was, “Will we make it to church? Will we make it to prayer meeting?” Sure, I was concerned about her, but that was my focus. That was so wrong on so many degrees. I can’t even begin to describe how disappointed I am at how selfish I am. UH! I hate myself! AH! It’s terrible. I hate my flesh. I hate the skin I’m in.}
Then she got the results back and I hastily got off the phone. During this whole time I was texting people, telling them the news, wrongly wanting their sympathy, asking them to pray. My mother had fallen in the backyard. She wasn’t doing anything. She was walking, and she just fell. When she fell, her foot slipped and she put all her weight on the other ankle, which twisted. And guess what. She broke both bones in her ankle!
I know. It’s terrible. Just by the way she wasn’t crying much and how she didn’t say how much it really must have been hurting, I thought she had only sprained it. But the bones were broken. No chance of going to prayer meeting (and that’s less than what I deserved for being so selfish). In the thirty minutes or so in which she got a splint put on because her foot was too swollen to have a cast yet, we (Dad, my sis, and I) went to Whataburger. And I say proudly that, being the good dieter that I am, I had a chicken salad without cheese (on accident; they forgot it) and only a few fries. We went back and she had a splint and we thought she was ready to go. The nurse started wheeling her out of the room and into the hallway when they said that they wanted a blood pressure test thing or whatever.
My mother hates those. The machines always give her bruises, and they always have to do it more than once because the automatic ones don’t read her well or whatever. So they did have to take it twice, and she said twice that it hurt, and I could see how much pain it was causing her. They finally switched to a different one and it read. . Only 2 ½ hours! Not bad for emergency care or whatever. In fact, that’s practically the speed of light! Then we left, stopped by the drive-thru at Whataburger to get her a plain and dry burger, just the way she likes it, and then we went home. We helped her into the house and then my dad got a wheelchair from somewhere
So that’s it, then. Now you know how selfish I am, how hurt my mom is, and how caring my dad is. I hate myself for being so selfish and self-pitying. My mom always had a bad knee that always hurt her, and she has a hard time getting around. Guess which ankle she broke. The good one! That creates so many problems, you have no idea. But anyway, I plan to make her breakfast-in-bed tomorrow. Shhh! Don’t tell her! I’m sorry for being selfish. God bless you for reading and caring, and please keep her in your prayers.

Every Day Routine
Hm. Today was fun. I PE I caught...hm...I think the grand total was three balls. Well, actually two, but that was because the third one got wrestled out of my hands by one of my friends. She can throw. It's kind of surpirsing. Let's see...what else happened today? Well, let's backtrack from PE...
If you were me (This happens EVERY SINGLE DAY. Things are pretty routine around here):
You wake up to the sound of your father coaxing you to wake up. Twitch your hand to signify that you're awake. Glance at the clock.
7:09. Arg! Get up. Arg. Raise yourself, against the protests of your body, and climb out of bed. Eat. Get dressed. Brush hair. Brush teeth. Keep your vow of silence that is so often apparent in the mornings. Grumble and nod to answer questions and run out the door into your carpool's ride at 7:40 (and if they're late 7:42). Resume silence and read The Phantom of the Opera in the back seat. At arrival in school drop-off, run out of the car, through the breezeway, down the deck, and drop stuff in homeroom. Rush to chapel if it's Wednesday.
Bible. {If it's not Wednesday.}
A very good class. Listen well. Look up verses. Take notes.
IPC {Integrates Physics and Chemistry}.
Sit in the front with Flower Child" and ...um... "Banana" {and no, that's not me}. Chat to them and watch sibling rivalry between "Flower Child"and her brother. {We take IPC with the tenth graders.} Shush when the teacher enters the room. Do not be surpirsed at almost-failing test results. Take LOTS of notes! Do not laugh at friend "Flower Child" while she tries to talk to you and kicks you under the table when you look down, trying not to burst into laughter in the middle of the lecture. Do not reply when she asks you to ask her brother for her pen to give to her or shrug and mouth to her that you don't want to. There's the bell. Off to math. Go to homeroom. While getting your books chat with the seventh graders. On the way to math class complain to "Seigi" about "Flower Child's" distracting you and laugh when "Flower Child" pokes you in the stomach, only to get a poke back from you.
Math.
Sit between "Seigi" and "Flower Child". When the teacher says to be quiet, begin writing daily notes. (And just so we're clear, the teacher knows we pass notes and it's not bad. We are allowed to do it.) While having an ongoing note between the three of you, respond to "Flower Child's" daily FlyLeaf song. Try writing the whole song, line-by-line from memory. If "Seigi" and "Flower Child" try to send notes w/o you on purpose and exclude you, quietly begin frowning and when they laugh at your annoyance, angrily look down at your paper and do not reply. At the end of math, as you angrily pack up your book, if they ask you if you're mad at them, give them that "No, I'm perfectly FINE" look and ignore their laugher. And then when they say they're sorry and let you read their note, smile, forgive them, and laugh about it, but not without first poking them both in the stomach. Get your books from your locker and chat with the highschoolers.
English.
OOH. Run. You're probably late, so run to this class; this teacher is strict. Go in, check your file, and slide into your seat next to "Flower Child" with the bell ringing in your ears. On a good day, wave to "Seigi", who is on the other side of the room. Watch the clock. Try to listen to the teacher, but if you zone out, it's ok, because you wouldn't remember anything anyway if your memory is like mine. Watch the clock. When two of your other friends get in trouble for something pointless that any other teacher would have understood, exchange both enraged and confused glances with them. Watch the clock and count down the seconds until it's over and it's FINALLY lunch. At the end of the class, wait for "Flower Child" to get her stuff together and go to homeroom.
Lunch.
Wash hands. Eat. Talk. Do NOT listen to your IPC teacher when he comes in, IF he talks about what's REALLY in your food. If he is insulting Longhorns, listen and listen well, occasionally interjecting your own joke. Laugh. Use the rest of your time to do homework and study for tests.
Computer.
Go to class and sit by "Nigeria" (not a close friend with him) and "The Blonde Mexican". Chat with her. Immediately log in and open outlook. Respond to all emails and try to continue the ongoing stories with "Seigi", "Flower Child", and ...um...let's call her..."D. Honey" (because I think that's her email). Once the bell rings, turn off moniters. At the end of class, use 3 of five minutes to continue emails. Go to history, which is next door. Usually bring your history book to computer so that you're not late.
History.
The most relaxing class of the day. Sit between...well, neither of them really have nicknames...Ok, sit between "Teller" {really athletic girl} and "Littlehouse" {really athletic guy} with "Teopopilous" {smartical person} diagonally in front of you. Usually the class gets off topic, so make sure to laugh at whatever happens. For instance, we have had in the past talked for the whole period about decapitating people, and going to haunted houses and phobia. Laugh. Smile. Enjoy the company of the people around you. Bell rings. Pack up and leave for study hall.
Study Hall.
Do homework. Do not laugh at the people who get up and dance or trip when the teacher leaves the room, and after a while tell them to sit down and be quiet. After more time passes, frown and ignore them. Change out. You're usually the last one. Grab water bottle. Bell rings. *Dun, Dun, Dun* P.E.
P.E.
Recently we have been playing football. :(
But we usually start out with doing jump jacks (he times us and however long we take to get out there is how many we do) and then get in assigned lines and run a few laps. In my line is "Teopopious", "Blonde Mexican", Teo P.'s li'l bro "Theo", "D. Honey", and "Nate" {Nate and Theo are 6th graders.} If "Teopopilous" touches your hair, mess up the gel in his. Laugh with "D. Honey" and "Blonde Mexican". Enjoy not cathing balls and watching them pathetically fall to the ground at your failed attempt to throw. Bell rings. Pack up.
GO HOME! BLOG! The End...For now.
