Road Trip to San Antonio!

Ok. Well. Here we go!

So I have a tournament in San Antonio this weekend. It's like 3 hours from here to there. So...naturally...my Dad and I listened to my music the whole way, which consisted of Superchick {I am going to their concert (hopefully) in March!!!!}, Barlowgirl, and Phantom of the Opera. Yes, it was fun TRYING to sing the music, and funnier to hear what "notes" we came up with. So what I'm not an opera singer? No big deal. I can carry a normal tune as long as it doesn't contain notes that are not physically impossible to hit or undiscovered by mankind. So as we were driving down dark roads in the middle of the night, listening to the loud Phantom of the Opera theme song, I glanced out of the window, and I was left speechless. I COULD SEE STARS! And I don't mean those wimpy city lights. I mean...like...breathtaking, stunning, incredible beyond belief stars! God is AWESOME! We got to the hotel at like 8. The beds are really poofy and comfy!

Back to volleyball...Today we played 3 games. We had to get there pretty early. I wasn't too happy with that. And then we had to watch a game before it was our turn. Then we played a good team and lost by 2 points. The next team we played won by a few more points. Then we had another break. The third game I messed up really badly when I went in. My serve hit the net because I rushed it, my bump wasn't straight, and then I had another one that I could have hit better than I did, but I accidently hit the ceiling. Arg. I was really dissappointed in myself. We won that game nonetheless.

After showering at the hotel and eating lunch my dad and I met up with some friends and we went to the riverwalk. THAT WAS AWESOME! I need to go back there sometime with Mickey and Charity. Will and ... Mickey's bro {does he have a nickame...?} can come too. We would have SO much fun! It's soooooooooooo cooooooooool! I bought a hat, which leaves me with $4 for this month. Again, I am not broke, but sadly I have no willpower to save or invest. Anyway, we went to a few restaurants, listened to some people singing, went to a Mexican marketplace, and walked around the riverway. It was really fun.

I don't know what time we are playing tomorrow or when we are playing. I think that we will go to church here in the morning. If we loose a lot of games I think we may be done sooner and might be able to make it back to Houston in time for night church. Otherwise you'll have to wait another week. Sorry guys. Well, that's just a quick update {or as quick as I could make it}. Now I've got to go study for IPC {which I was supposed to be doing}, so Ciao.
